Ithaca College hosts most of its information about sexual assault response and programs on its website called Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Education (SHARE). This website is divided into the following section: Reporting Sexual Violence, Preventing Sexual Violence, Definitions and Terms, Education and Training, Sexual Rights and Responsibilities, Helping a Friend, Title IX Information, and Confidentiality. Tiffani Ziemann, Title IX coordinator at Ithaca College, frequently solicits feedback.
RAD: The only program listed on SHARE’s website as part of the college’s effort to address Rape and Sexual Assault specifically, rather than sexual harassment specifically, is the program Rape Aggression in Defense also known as RAD. This program is first and foremost a self-defense training for women only. It is delivered usually about once a semester by public safety to a small group of women. It includes twelve hours of training over four days. The content includes self-defense and risk prevention.
